Terms & Conditions

1. Academy accepts inquiries and concerns only through emails or website chat. Voice calls are only accepted on high priority/sensitive cases. Messages or calls from WhatsApp, Telegram, Gmail chats etc... will not be looked into or responded
 

2. Fee are payable in advance, as per the term, upfront in full
 

3. Once paid, fee is non-transferable / non-adjustable / non-refundable. 
 

4. Classes that are missed (no show) by the student, for whatever reason, is not made up, credited or transferred. Such classes are considered as forfeited
 

5. Academy reserves the right to cancel or cease an activity in case of insufficient registration, non-payment of the fee, faculty availability, conflicts with other activities or logistic problems. Affected students will be given a credit to book other available slot
 

6. Academy will not be responsible for any technical issues (internet issues, power interruption, bad network etc.) being faced by a student during the session. Such session, will not be made up or credited. To avoid technical issues, we advise students to follow the pre-requisites & guidelines strictly
 

7. Academy will not be maintaining student’s progress data. For feedback on the progress, all the parents are expected to attend the parents Teacher Meeting (PTM) when scheduled.
 

8. Academy reserves the right to terminate the student any time, if their work or discipline is found to be unsatisfactory during the session
 

9. It will be faculty’s discretion whether to extend the session or not. Student/parent’s demand/request to extend the session may not be accepted
 

10. You will follow Academy prescribed software application for the online live classes, which is Skype application. However, ‘Google Meet' app will be used as an alternate in case of any issues during the session which is again at the faculty’s discretion
 

11. Indian school of music classes (Hindustani & Carnatic Vocal, Tabla, Flute & Mridangam) are conducted lesson wise, not on duration basis. Students will be learning both by listening to others besides self-practice. Students are required to learn and submit the lessons taught in order to proceed with the new lesson or songs
 

12. Photographs and videotapes of students’ performances are taken from time to time for publicity purpose. Unless otherwise stated, submission of signed Enrolment Form and Terms & Conditions Letter will be deemed as ‘No Objection’ for such photographs & videotapes to be so used strictly for promotion of activities of the Academy

 

13. Academy will not be conducting any classes on certain festival days. Holidays list will be published beginning of the year and shared via email. Classes falling on holidays will not be covered


14. Delivery charges of any study material and stationery must be borne by the student/parent
 

16. Students/Parents are not allowed to record the live class sessions without prior permission from the respective faculty

17.  Institutions like ours (Interlude Music Academy and likewise) fall under the title of "Other Educational Support Service Institution" and therefore GST charges will apply
